The story revolves around a young man named Desmond Gunasekara (Pujana Dandeniya) living in the Gampaha district in the 1970s. Desmond, a young man from a very ordinary family with religious leanings, comes into conflict with Gnanay (Jagath Manuwarna), the leader of a powerful criminal gang in the area, due to a coincidental incident. As the 1988-89 Terror Era unfolds, Desmond's loved ones are murdered by criminals aided by political power and corrupt police officers. Desmond's gruesome and ironic revenge for the deaths of his family and friends marks the end of the film.
